  I didn't get to this on a Friday but I still really needed to hear this on a Tuesday!

  I had never heard the term "Go Fallow" but it makes so much sense. Right now, this totally struck a chord with me. I really think you're onto something here. I do feel that today's culture is all about burning the candle at both ends and we've really lost something that was really helpful in so many ways. Probably a lot of ways that we don't even realize, so helpful to physical and mental health, not to mention just finding joy and meaning in life in all the ways you mention (love life, friendships, hobbies, etc.)
