Friday Check In - Go Outside

This episode is a little bit different than the others - I recorded this outside, on a walk in downtown Dublin. It's a bit windy in places, but hopefully it's not too distracting.
Take a few minutes to check in with yourself and take a bit of a mental health break. You're worth it. ❤️

“For a long time I felt Without style and grace Wearing shoes with no socks In cold weather I knew my heart Was in the right place I knew I'd be able To do these things..
And as we watch him Digging his own grave It is important to know That was where he's at He can't afford to stop That is what he believe He'll keep on digging For a thousand years..
I'm walking a line I'm thinking about empty motion I'm walking a line Just barely enough to be living Get outta the way (no time to begin) This isn't the time (so nothing was done) Not talking about (not many at all) I'm turning around (no trouble at all) You notice there's nothing around you, 'round you I'm walking a line Divide and dissolve..
Never get to say much Never get to talk Tell us a little bit But not too much Right about then Is where she give up She has closed her eyes She has give up hope..
I'm walking a line…❤️💙”

This one sounds familiar, but I can't place it

Houses in Motion by Talking Heads! Remain in Light (the record it comes from, the one with Once in a Lifetime on it) really is a masterpiece :)

I always take try take in what you said ,I've been trying to keep off my mobile lately like switching my wifi off ,and appreciate my surroundings more like taking pictures when I'm on the way to my place of work ,there always lots green scenery and streams ,I did spot a swan on the water the other day
I hope you are keeping well Eve 🙂

I love seeing your photography, Matthew, you have a very good eye. And it's a healthy habit, I think. xx

I seldom travel to my city's downtown core so even after decades of living here I'm not jaded to it. I like to gaze up at the tall glass, steel and concrete towers and photograph them as if I were a tourist, and peer knowingly down main avenues with the expectation that sea or mountain will always be visible at their end. If I were to walk the streets of downtown Dublin, there's no way I'm missing a second of it just to stare into a tiny pocket computer! 😄
I hope you are doing well these days, Eve!

Hey C - I admit, I've been better, but I'm doing my best

And that's all we can ask of each other, in good times or tough like nowadays. I'm so glad to read in your announcement header that you've recovered.
