And so it ends...

I may have said this before, but when I set out to write this book I decided to write the sex part ’backwards’. I wanted the book to start with hot fucking from behind, quick and hard and passionate, and then progress through the story going ’backwards’, meaning the couple become more passionate, more affectionate, more romantic with each other as the story unfolds, until the erotic ’climax’ of the story is just kissing and declarations of love. In other words, pretty much the opposite of stories usually progress. So that's why there's no explosive make up sex at the end of the book.

This book is also the second in a trilogy, but taking a page from the George Lucas School of Drama I decided to write and release it first. The next book I’m working on the series is called Wait for Me, and it’s the story of Aidan and Thea.

I think I’ll read the first chapter of that and post it, just to really introduce them to you

So it’s a little sad to finally say goodbye to Erik and Alex…but keep in mind, there is a book three :D

Thanks to everyone who listened, I’ve been absolutely delighted to share this with you 💋

I have kinda been a lurker in this site to be honest lol

But this whole audio book has made me make an account and leave a comment here

Honestly, this has been the best audio book I've listened to in a while , and I would go through it again , but this time with my gf.

Hi Eve, I'm new to the garden. I just wanted to commend you for your amazing job writing this novel. I felt every emotion portrayed in the novel (chapter 27 was especially emotional for me). The sex is very vivid. I only missed little Ikea (lol) kicking Alexandra's tummy. Wait for Me can't come soon enough.

P.S.: Your erotic audios are arousing AF ;)

haah thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this book, this really is my own little Ikea :P

I began listening to this in wonderment about a month ago despite being diagnosed Phltn positive and must have reached chapter nine or so before other matters made heavy demands on my time. I went back to it again about ten days ago. During the daytime I have very little trouble getting by but as the quietness of bedtime arrives my tinnitus, fortunately much milder than that of others I know, returns so I like to have something playing through my headphones as I settle down. I'm not saying Stay With Me caused me to drift off, it didn't. It's had the opposite effect believe me. Here I go again - more bloody compliments!!! I'm trying to avoid the words roller coaster but there you go, and the narration was as we say over here 'different class'. So thank you once again for coming up with something very special, be proud of yourself. I defy anyone to come up with a performance to match the powerful, gripping one you delivered in chapter 26. What an arsehole that Paul was! Great stuff.

I loved listening to you narrate Eve and the novel just as much. The story was captivating, suspenseful (snow angel??? really!?!?, I was thinking spunk poisoning from super sperm due to the enhancements), wonderful (insert more words here singing praises).

There was one extremely minor detail that bothered me early in the book. When Nick dropped of Erik and Alexandra he “threw the engine into park”... engines are either running or off transmissions go into park. I know, I know.... the targeted scope of readers will not care about this detail but I like accuracy in my romance novels where one of the leads had a virus enhancing his hormones making him a weapon/sex machine on legs :P

I can't wait for you to complete the series and hopefully answer some unanswered questions.
Will Paul's high up contact come after PGI?
Will this mysterious group who kidnapped Erik strike again?
Are they the same group who kidnapped Taya?
Will Erik's libido ever be quenched?
I shall tune in next time for the new exciting adventure. :)
Also with the completion of this post I shall hand you my Lurker Card.

haha thanks for the heads up on the transmission thing! I changed it in the text version. I'm usually a stickler for stuff like that too, but I didn't even catch that, so thank you!

And thank you for your questions, Mr. Lurker! I reserve the right to answer none of them until the books are out :P

Aww...it's over, but what a ride! I was expecting a lead in to the next story...perhaps with some explosive make up sex and the slow, smouldering afterglow...but everything wrapped up quite nicely! I am thoroughly satisfied with both of Alex's surprises!

*****! This story was truly captivating, especially with such fantastic narration! Thank you for sharing such a great work of romance! If you ever get it printed, I'd be happy to buy a 1st edition! (I wonder what will be on the front cover...) :D

aww, thanks so much MWL, that's wonderful💋

I'll have to find a really hot, steamy pic for the cover :P

    Good morning Miss Eve,
I'm so glad I found this novel but I will say you sure know how to take a person on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved the ending even though it was bitter sweet and only because it had to end.
I will patienly be looking forward to your next novel.
    Thank you.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad to hear that. I'm very inspired to work on Book One now ❤️

    Hi Mate,
I am one of your "Lurkers" who has been drawn out of my anonymous existence in to the light by this novel.

It has been a wonderful if some what emotional journey... I have found myself getting frustrated, impatient and even angry with these characters... I wanted you to know I really did enjoy the novel and I am disappointed it is over.

You have a real gift and a wonderful imagination. I am intrigued to see where you take us all next.... Now... back to Lurking

    • A Eve on 2016-11-07 21:39:15 (UTC)

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I'm glad you felt the rollercoaster, that was my intention in writing it. Happy endings are quite as powerful unless there's been some trouble throughout. ❤️

        haha you go girl
