  Such beautiful imagery in this chapter! What a quaint setting, especially with such a cool old dog! I really love the way you describe those little touches of tenderness in this one! So much love and feels in those tiny, tiny connections!

  And those tense moments, both of them so totally unprepared for this...I didn't expect the chapter to end like that!!!!!

    haha I didn't either. Sometimes authors will say that their characters 'do things' they don't expect, and this was one of those cases. I found myself writing Alex getting angry and slapping him, which I hadn't anticipated when I started writing it. But when I thought about it in the context of the whole story, she's feisty enough to not let him off so easily :)

  I put my Headphones on, closed my eyes, left your voice at the helm of my imagination, and then, The whole scene came alive and i was zoned out! It felt like I was in there, standing just next to these two love birds in *stealth mode* and watching them do their thing!
  And thank you for not letting Alex accept Erik so easily!
  Erik has a shit ton of making up to do!
  Even I'd take the sweet torcher of waiting until next week! :3
