For anyone who doesn't know about romance novel structure, this chapter signifies the end of Act 2. In all novels in this genre, and in many other genres, Act 3 is where the trouble starts. So starting in Chapter 19, there are going to be some difficult times for Erik and Alex, and their love will be put to the test

    Things took a dark turn so quickly! I was not expecting such tension and distance after all that sweet lovin'! If trouble is brewing, these last chapters will be hard to get through...is something going to happen to Erik??? And how is Alexandra going to cope?

    P.S. This must be the first romance novel in the world where the stud has performance and confidence issues! I can't relate to being Fabio and women throwing themselves at me, but a guy madly in love with a girl but can't bring himself to tell her...what guy can't relate to that?

      haha, you'll just have to wait and see...

      and yes, I wanted to write a different romance hero, someone with very human issues, not another one-dimensional, cardboard cutout type. I figure if someone had gone through everything he did, of course he'd have doubts and worries like this, not to mention all the regular worries that an average man might have. Maybe I'll start a trend :D

    Hello Miss Eve,
    I feel I should say that I really wasn't a fan of romance novels until I accidentally found yours, it really put the hook in me, the story has it all and I know I must sound like a broken record but your talent for writing and of course your voice you could be reading the phone book and it would sound amazing, by the way the last chapter was white hot.
    One more thing, I know I'm fairly new to your work and I'm really enjoying listening to everything you do including your HFO'S so please don't let the few dictate what you do and how you do it, your awesome for doing what you do for myself and all your other listeners, thank you so much.
