I'm excited to share with you this preview of my upcoming podcast, a project I've been wanting to launch for a while and can finally say is just about ready to debut.
It's called Chill, and in a nutshell, it's a non-erotic, no-fuss relaxation series for 'regular' people. Just like my Eve's Guide series was for "Regular Guys", (steering clear of cufflinks, Armani suits and getting ripped), this podcast will cater to people who might be turned off by new age stuff but still want to find a way to relax.
If any of these words leave you cold
- Energy anything
If you don't fancy:
- sitting cross-legged anywhere
- buying a Buddha statue to go with your lotus flowers
- making sand gardens with little tiny rakes
- twisting yourself into yoga pretzels
- finding your third eye
but you definitely want to calm down, ease anxiety, settle your nerves, clear your mind or just plain go to sleep, I think this podcast will be for you.
I plan to make this a weekly podcast, each week posting a different category of audio, like
- guided meditation
- hypnotherapy (for phobias, weight issues, confidence, etc)
- insomnia relief
- bedtime stories
- Let's Go for a Walk
- Sweet Nothings
and anything else that will help you relax and just chill.
I'll be distributing this podcast on the usual platforms, but I thought you'd like to hear a preview of the kind of meditation audios I'll be producing.
These are like little mind vacations, helping you settle your busy brain and just enjoy the moment. Unlike a lot of new age therapies, meditation has been investigated fairly extensively, and shows real results in clinical studies.
In this audio, I guide you through roughly ten minutes of guided visualization, inviting you to imagine your favourite place.
I hope you enjoy! And keep an eye out for the official launch of Chill, as soon as I can make it happen ❤️ (You can watch it building, in progress, if you like, here
I'll make the disclaimer loudly and often - I'm not a therapist, counsellor or doctor, and I don't claim to be. None of my audios are meant to be taken as medical advice, and if you feel you have a serious medical or psychological problem that needs addressing, please see a professional. These audios are simply meant to help you relax, so don't listen while driving or doing anything that requires your full attention.
