Noticing You...A Love Letter to the Extraordinary "Ordinary"...
So often we seem images of impossibly gorgeous people presented as the love interest in movies, or as the subject of our erotic fantasies. And while I believe that this is mostly because we need a general 'placeholder' of what represents a sexy man or woman to us (in the absence of a real-life example), I also know that it can be very off-putting to people who aren't gods and goddesses (ie the vast majority of us).
I really loved this script by /u/cuddle_with_me because it explores that much more common dynamic - you notice someone you work with or take classes with, a neighbour or even just someone you meet casually. They are 'average' in many ways, but something about them just does it for you, and you find yourself drawn to them.
This is for anyone who has ever felt ordinary ❤️

It's one of the most underappreciated things about men and women - we do think about each other and like each other, but often we don't reveal it or know that someone is thinking about us. It's a bit of a shame, it would be nice if we could give each other a nice little boost like this more often!

In this time of social division, an audio like this is a welcome countercurrent and indeed true to your wish of bringing women and men closer together. Sex gods/goddesses do have their place in our fantasies, our entertainments and escapes, and as these diversions tend toward the larger-than-life, it is only in keeping with the theme. But ordinary is the bread and butter of our lives, but it is real, and because it is real and engaging of all our senses and faculties it is the most satisfying to us in the fullest sense of the word. A marvelously sincere collaboration between two artists, that speaks to our everyday selves!

Aw, thanks for recording this! I am as guilty of extending the sexy person stereotype as anyone (and sometimes far more guilty), so I try to balance it out with these things because they also speak to me, but in a different way. Both your lovely performance and your introduction show that you really get what this is about. Gorgeousness is in the eye of the beholder. And when I listen to this, it's also in my ear 😘

This really captures that moment when you are smitten and totally head-over-heels about someone, but to hear it coming from your infatuation, showing you the feelings are mutual... swooooon
And I feel this way about a lot of "ordinary" women, a waitress at the restaurant, a woman standing in the same line, a driver in the next lane at a stop light, where they aren't dressed up and at their best but yet still so cute and charming in that everyday way. Always wondering if they'd feel the same about me, if they would sound like you in this audio...mmm... <3!
