    Excellent interview, Eve!

I tried to explain erotic audio vs erotic literature vs porn to someone the other day, and I used a similar thought and philosophy to explain it, as it hits the nail on the head.

It is wonderful to see you have an opportunity to spread your philosophy and highlight your work. Congratulations, milady!

    «I produce audio-sextapes for virgins»

A fulltime-producer of audio-porn tells us how she helps men to get their first sexual experiences and why erotic audio drama is better than «real» pornography.

Eve earns her livelihood with whispering stranger men sexual fantasies in their ear. She wants to help provide men a healthier, self-assured sexuality with her audio dramas under the Name «Eve’s Garden» Within the growing eroticaudio-community - which is particularly at home at the subreddit r/GoneWildAudio - she's one of the most popular actresses: around 20.000 clicks registers her most heard tape and thanks to 700 subscrubers, who pay monthly 7$ for exclusive content, Eve can tend fulltime production of erotic, sex-positive audio drama. The author and voice-over-actor, who lives right now in Ireland, tells us how she got herself in the scene, why she thinks audio drama is better than «real» porn and how she acted as an erotic-charged on-board computer of a spaceship.

Eve, since when do you produce erotic audio drama?

For about three years. Back then I heard selfhypnosis-tapes to sleep better. In one of those was a guy with an incredible sexy voice, which kept rather me from sleeping. After a bit of googling I came across the community Literotica, where people write erotic stories and also record them. That fascinated me.

And then you got right to it?

Since I write erotic-romantic stories as an author and also already worked as a voice-over-actress, it was obvious to try it at once. I uploaded my first tape on Soundcloud. A few people listend to it, a few left comments and so the thing started.

What do you like about this line of work?

Erotic audio drama helped me a lot to handle my sexuality. Before then I was pretty shy and felt as if I was observing the sexual life from outside. Thanks to these audios dramas you can suddenly feel desired, regardless of how you look or act, maybe even for the first time in your life - as listener and producer. That can help tremendously to develop one's own sexuality.

By now you earn your livelihood with this - what does your work entail?

I write all my scripts and tend besides all recording also all that technical stuff. And the community is dear to me: I spend much time with private messages, mails and comments. I write not only with my fans, but with others, who produce erotic audios as well. That also an important part for the philosophy behind my work: I want, that people not only see me as a sexuell woman, but a pretty ordinary human.

    What's your philosophy like?

I try to do away with prejudices and bad mannerisms in a men- and sexpositive way. Today we constantly hear about «rape culture» and sexuell assaults, within porn you are a pure bystander, who has a guilty conscience after orgasm. This makes many men insecure: they don't know anymore how to act «decent» towards a woman and are maybe even afraid of her. Or they have two pictures in their head: the saint and the whore - at that women are always both.

How does your production differ from these stereotypes?

Erotic audio is far comprehensive than pure porn. When you listen, you become yourself participant. You imagine how a sexy person whispers in your ear, how you both lie together in bed and you maybe even answer one or two questions. And - what's real important to me - after orgasm it's not over. The cuddling afterwards is always part of the experience with me - and maybe even a few jokes, because sex doesn't have to be all stern. The listeners should notice they are listening to a totally normal woman: one who takes bicycle rides and likes cat videos - and likewise likes to have sex.

    Does this reach your listeners?

Many write to me that they feel a feminine presence in their life much more this way as if they watched porn. When a woman whispers in your ear, that she thinks you are sexy and you are wrapped up in this fantasy, this can also help you in «real» life. A variety of men already wrote to me that they got closer and healthier in their sexual approach through erotic audio drama and even dared to date someone or have the first time sex.

Are you happy about these reactions?

Of course! I also deliberately produce a lot of tapes for virgins or very shy men. I take up the role of the passionate, experienced partner and try to make these men comfortable in their own bodies - no matter how they look. I also have a lot of fun with the production of thematic content: for example a Khaleesi-sextape in «Game of Thrones»-style. Another time I played the female on-board computer of a space shit, that was pretty horny for her male crew. The special-fx of the voice was pretty elaborate to achieve, but it payed off.

Are you horny while you record tapes or are you masturbating?

I don't masturbate meanwhile - I couldn't concentrate on recording otherwise. To be horny can help, but like all actors I take on a role at work. But during recording, lust sometimes enthralls me.

Would you recommend this for others?

Absolutely! The cool thing about it is that it's real easy to start anonymously at home. Especially the community on reddit is great: you get support, positive feedback and you can dissipate shyness or body-issues. And: everyone can - even without a model body - be as incredible attractive as you can imagine. That's democratization of sex!

Thank you so much! It's funny seeing the translation of things I said to him in English, written in German and then re-translated back to English :P

Good work, Durgarnkuld! 👍 I don't know German but there was a French version also that I translated and posted on the Eve's Garden subreddit for visitors there.

Nice. I'm sure they will differ somewhat, but should be enough to get the gist of it!

    Here's the Google translation: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilllate.com%2Fde%2Fstory%2Ferotic-audio-h%25C3%25B6rspiele-sexy-intervirew%3Fref%3D20min-story&edit-text=

Are there other interviews with you out there we can read?

    • A Eve on 2017-08-30 21:17:18 (UTC)

Thank you! No, this is the first one that's been published :)

I used Google Translate to do the heavy lifting with the French article, since I'm still rather novice in my French. I made a text file of this translation with some of my edits that I was thinking about sending you, but I know your native German listeners will do a fantastic job with translation. :) UPDATE: Nobody posted a translation on your subreddit after quite a few hours so I put mine over there for people to read.

I noted that Google translated "pour les hommes puceaux" as "foolish men", when it should be translated as "for virgin men". Now I'm wondering about the etymology of the French word for virgin: did they historically equate virginity with foolishness (or naiveté?)

It was a great read and your answers were succint in communicating to readers what you and your philosophy are all about. I liked your closing line too, "C’est la démocratisation du sexe!" :)

      Merci, mon chou!

The funny thing about doing interviews to begin with is that it doesn't matter how clear you are, they often get things wrong. There are a few things in this article that I didn't say or that he misunderstood, but I'm not going to quibble. Thanks for the translation help!

  • billymacorbuddy on 2017-08-26 20:18:24 (UTC)

Google Chrome can translate, it's not perfect but it's good enough. But when it translates the headline it says, "I produce audio sextapes for young women." 😅

It's cool that they asked you to do this. You were able to get your message out and some new exposure. Maybe you'll pick up a few new listeners as a result. 👍

I hope so! And I laughed too when I saw 'jungfrauen' - but alas, the vagaries of translation :P
