Welcome to my new podcast, Body Positive by Eve - a series about weight and body image issues for guys (or anyone dealing with these issues).

In Episode 2 we start the ball rolling, getting to know your situation and background so you can get to know yourself a little better. It might seem like a strange place to start when thinking about losing weight or eating better, but I promise you I think it's a worthwhile place to begin.

    Great episode! I never heard about "set point" theory or ecto/meso/endomorph body shapes but all in all, everything you explained about family history and social pressure and expectations makes a lot of sense!

    And I absolutely love your positive outlook, you are like the best coach ever! Your vote of confidence seems to count for a million! I don't know why but hearing you say "you've got this" really, really sticks with me!

    The biggest takeaway while listening was me being mindless eater, meaning there were times where I would eat and then mindlessly snack. I've gotten better at eating better, but still allowing to treat myself every now and then, while trying to be good to myself 😊

      I'm so glad you noticed your patterns, it's the key to success as far as I've seen. And absolutely treating yourself is a great idea, you'd go mental otherwise :P

    Your 'get to know yourself and where you are' that shares the same philosophy with journal writing is so sensible it's surprising I've never seen it mentioned in other articles I've read over the years about weight management. That picture of emaciated Bale, just....wow... he truly does get absorbed in his character studies! I've heard he lost a lot of weight for 'The Machinist' which I've never seen so this was quite the visual impact.

    Having listened to all of your previous guide podcasts I know even more good things are in store for this series, and I will definitely endorse it as a beacon for all listeners who otherwise feel lost in the sea of contradictory health advice on the Internet.

    Thank you so much for this Miss Eve. As you may know this has been a crazy year for me so far and I've fallen off the health wagon pretty hard. Now you come along with this amazing podcast/series to help me get back on track. Also you're absolutely right "I've got this". I'm really looking forward to what's next.🌹
