I listened to this on Twitter and until I read the description you wrote here, I honestly didn't notice the tinny-ness until you mentioned it but now that you have, I do recall that the audio sounds warmer and fuller as it plays through. Kind of like how a guitar with newly changed strings sounds more metallic and tinny until it hits the mellower sweet spot with richer sound as the strings get broken in. What I did notice though was how the audio had a pleasantly penetrating quality to it, and hearing your voice resonating in the centre of my head is a very good thing!
